This week’s Tuesdays with Dorie recipe is Mochaccicno Muffins from Dorie Greenspan’s Baking with Dorie – chocolate/coffee muffins that are fast to make and tasty (though I could have used more of the coffee flavour, to be honest, especially in a “morning” muffin!).

These have both ground coffee (not coffee powder) and coffee syrup (like extract) in them so I am surprised that they don’t taste more of coffee. They are certainly moist and delicious and the chocolate chips (I used minis) were a nice burst of sweetness in an otherwise not-too-sweet (read: perfect for breakfast!) muffin.

Next time, I’d amp up the coffee extract even more!
