Tuesdays with Dorie (Baking Chez Moi): Bread and Chocolate Coffee Can Brioche Ice Cream Sandwiches

Brioche ice cream sandwiches from baking Chez Moi on eatlivetravelwrite.comI have to be honest and admit that I cheated a little (ok, a lot!) making this week’s Tuesdays with Dorie recipe from Baking Chez Moi !

The recipe is essentially a fancy ice cream sandwich – made with Dorie’s brioche (uniquely made in coffee cans), homemade ice cream and salted butter caramel sauce.

SUCH self control!). I also had some brioche from my organic food box delivery that week AND some delightful vanilla ice cream from our local ice cream parlour.

So, yeah, sorry, I totally cheated on making any of this from scratch (except the sauce but I didn’t make it expressly for this post). But you know what? Sometimes that’s ok!

Totally ok that you cheated, I did too. No matter these are items I would not of think to put together but it works. My son has been enjoying them again and again.
