This is basically dried fruits and nuts stuck together with melted chocolate – yup, kinda reminiscent of a block Cadbury Fruit & Nut, only homemade. I used almonds, apricots and coconut for mine and I loved the flavour combination. What I did think needed tweaking, though, was the ratio of chocolate to fruit/ nuts. As you can see, there is hardly any chocolate, which made this really difficult to cut neatly into squares as I imagine it was supposed to be served. No matter, it was delicious but if I made it again, I’d definitely use more chocolate. Or, you know, buy a bar of chocolate 😉
