This past summer, I was fortunate enough to spend a couple of days in Lyon where, of course, one of the first things I did when I arrived was head to Les Halles de Lyon – Paul Bocuse, a true food-lover’s mecca. I was staying with the wonderful Lucy Vanel of Plum Lyon along with Jennifer so we had our tourism priorities straight – food first!
Over the course of a couple of hours we wandered, sampled and chatted with vendors (for a Saturday in July is was not busy at all!) and generally wished that we were going to be staying longer so we could sample even more!
Filled with gorgeous pastries, more cheeses than you’ve probably seen in your life under one roof, charcuterie, wines and so much more, this is THE destination for food lovers in Lyon. You simply can’t miss it!
Instead of sharing the (literally) hundreds of images I shot that day, I though you might like a wander through Les Halles via a short video visit. If you can’t get to Lyon soon, this is the next best thing! Enjoy!
