Last summer I had the pleasure of visiting the lovely town of Vic-Fezensac in the neighbouring (to the Lot-et-Garonne where Nérac is located) Gers department on market day. Eleanor, my good friend from VivreinFrance who runs market cooking classes (a visit to the market and a cooking class, all en français) invited me to tag along one day and I fell in love this the sweet little town and its awesome market! It’s been a while since I shared any market photos here so on this, the day of the first snowfall in Toronto, I felt it was appropriate to share a little bit of French market colour. Enjoy!
Pretty fruit, like jewels…
Also, don’t forget to look up!
So many GREENS (and some colourful tomatoes too!)
To round out your shopping, how about a saucisson “beret”? 😉
And after you’ve finished shopping, un petit café…
