Hi Mardi! Great review. I’d love to read this book. Have you read Almost French by Sarah Turnball? It’s another story of a young woman finding a new life in Paris (this time she’s an Aussie). I loved it. Really well written. I also love David Liebovitz’s The Sweet Life in Paris (which I bet you’ve read). Anyway, yup, Paris would be my first choice for a part-time destination. Have been three times now and stayed two of those times in the same apartment in Montmartre, which I think of as “our” apartment in Paris. Sigh…..someday….

I would like to live a part-time life in Athens working while learning Greek, or better yet on the island of Skopelos!
I would definitely be choosing Paris as my part-time life location! In the meantime, I’ll keep living it vicariously through your blog! 🙂

Fingers crossed!
I’d love to have a part-time life in Italy, eating my way through the country!
I’m torn between wanting to live part time in France and Germany. Perhaps I would live a quarter of my time in France, a quarter in Germany and the rest at home!!!
I tweeted as @BeDeCatering!! Fingers and toes are crossed!!!
Hi Mardi, they say you should look around at what you read, cook, eat; what films you watch, music you play to learn about your passion. If that is true then I should be somewhere in Italy – although… reading books about Paris and France come in a close second. A fav is “Paris to the Moon” by Adam Gopnik (and if I list more I will fill this entire comment box!) I have NOT read this book – am now twitching to do so. Cheers! :)iane
Did the Tweet!!

My part-time life dream is just across the border from Paris, in Flemish Belgium. Want to buy me an apartment and a Netjets membership so I can make it work?
I would enjoy the part-time life, in either France or Italy, because it would be so much easier to learn those beautiful languages!
I also tweeted, thank you! My Twitter handle is @clark_kasey
As tempting as Paris is, my part-time life would probably be in the Okanagan, BC. Can’t wait to read that book though!
