Thanks to the kind folks at Breville Canada, I have one Duo-Temp Pro (I wrote about it here) to give away to one lucky reader in Canada.  The machine is valued at $499.99CAD!

There are 2 ways to enter (maximum of two entries per person for the duration of the contest).

Eligibility and contest rules:

– Contest begins on Monday December 5th 2016 at 5.45am EST on and closes Monday December 12th 2016 at 6pm EST.
– Prize consists of one (1) Breville Duo-Temp Pro espresso maker (RRP $499.99CAD)
– Open to readers of the age of majority with a Canadian mailing address.
– No purchase of any product necessary for entry.
– Winner will be chosen randomly (using www.random.org) from all qualified entries on Monday December 12th 2016 after 6pm EST.
– Winner will be notified via email Tuesday December 13th 2016 and will have 48 hours to respond to the email.

Over the past few years my husband has become quite the coffee connoisseur but we have been on a tight budget so haven’t been able to splurge on a fancy coffee machine yet. I would LOVE to win this because well I’m a Mom if three kids due with my fourth in the spring. “Heading out” for coffee shop quality coffee is a luxury that really isn’t feasible in the best of days these days and I would lovebirds to be able to enjoy my favourite latte with out getting out of my pjs and packing up 4 kids (they don’t quite understand the importance of fancy coffee).

    I share a love of coffee that parallels any, my favorite saying is “Drink The Coffee, Be The Shit”
    I have a pretty great coffee maker at present, called my husband ha,ha but would so love a dream machine as this one. Also, although pretty simple – steamed milk is the bomb as far as I’m concerned. Something about it makes everything ok with the world. ha,ha. So having it built in to the deluxe model of espresso makers is like a cake with a cherry on top.

  46. Being a stay at home mom means that going out to enjoy a good cup of coffee is a luxury of time I don’t have very often. It would be wonderful to be able to put a cartoon on for Patrick and enjoy a cup while he watches his show.

  55. I AM a also creature of habit! My kids make fun that the first thing I do in the morning is make myself a decent cuppa with my Breville. I love that it foams well but I could use the temperature upgrade as I think mine is starting to go.
    When we lived in Perth, I adored the cafe culture and I REALLY miss a proper flat white. I love that there are no Starbucks there because it ensures small coffee shops stay in business!

I have been surviving off my little instant Tassimo machine and while it’s doing the job (considering the machine was a hand me down), I would love to create luxurious, delicious espresso drinks at home that taste more authentic.     We just got our French visa renewal rejected, came to Canada, and in the process of movnig had to sell off our lovely espresso machine. Too many other purchases right now for our new flat means an espresso mchine that’s worth having simply isn’t in the budget.
