I love markets. The San Francisco Saturday morning Ferry Plaza farmers market was no exception. At 7.30am last Saturday, Lauren and I were unable to sleep (east coast time!) and wandered around just as the vendors were setting up.
This post brought to you by the colours purple and green:
love your color themed posts and this one is no exception! farmers markets are lovely places to wander around with a camera, aren't they? so what was the green stuff in those plastic tubes?
Lovely photos! I am so missing out… Boooo
Lovely photos! The Ferry Plaza market is incredible. I love my NYC greenmarkets but still get nostalgic when I think about wandering through the FP.
These looked amazing, and I am quite jealous considering our farmers' market is done for the year. I am also wondering about the green items in the tubes – they look like lime freezer pops to me, but I am guessing have far healthier contents.
My favourite colours! How did you know? 🙂
Best Family and Steve – that's lime flavoured honey tubes in there!
Conor – just for you!
Penny – live vicariously through these pics!
Nancy – love the NYC green markets too!
I love the colors you picked! wasn't that market amazing? I wish we had one here in NY!
It's everything that I miss about San Francisco! Having access to stellar organic produce!
And this blog – there are more pics coming!
Fresh Local – stellar indeed!
