Last year at the FBC Conference a few of us journeyed to Nugateau for eclairs—my first one, in fact—and I got to try the Cookies n’ Milk version. Wowza. Where have eclairs been all my life?!

(Oh, and I tweeted about the contest over at @crumbkitchen. Thanks for running the giveaway!)

My favorite éclair was one filled with chocolate mousse and topped with a salted caramel drizzle. It was addicting!

I’m usually a traditional chocolate eclair person, but I’d love the opportunity to try some new flavours!

I once had a savoury eclair while in transit at Paris airport. Oh my! A totally delicious experience.

For a French, I’m not super original but my favorite eclair is the coffee flavored one! I miss my boulangerie!

Hmmmm. I think that I a real traditionalist and would opt for chocolate with plain whipped cream inside. However! Were I to win this giveaway :-), I could become more adventurous and try to make and eat some of those beautiful creations.

    Thanks,

    Kathryn

I have never eaten a real éclair before !!

My favourite eclair is vanilla pastry cream and milk chocolate ganache – what a lovely book and great review, Mardi.

  12. Jessica March 27, 2017 at 12:31 #

Great timing, I was actually flipping through this book at Chapters last week. Hands down, my favourite eclair flavour is matcha (green tea). But I’m not picky, any eclair is delicious!

  13. Stephanie March 27, 2017 at 22:26 #

I’ve never really tried any other flavour of eclair except the traditional chocolate covered, cream-filled one. It’s a childhood favourite so I’d love to learn to make my own!

  14. Charlie Ralph March 28, 2017 at 16:58 #

I’ll take any eclair but I love the ones with fruit.

Would love to make each one in the book!

  15. Isabelle @ Crumb March 29, 2017 at 23:33 #

Call me boring, but I love a classic eclair with a cream filling and chocolate glaze. I have nothing against the fancier newfangled flavours, though… any eclair is better than no eclair at all. 🙂

  16. Sara March 30, 2017 at 08:39 #

I’ve never tried an eclair 🙁 Anything chocolate woul be up be alley … esp if there’s peanut butter involved too!

  17. Diane Galambos March 30, 2017 at 20:40 #

Honestly, until you, Mardi, came into my life I had no idea there was anything other than the classic. So for now that’s my fav – but I promise to experiment like crazy if I win that precious book!

My favourite eclair is pistachio. I’ve never made an eclair, though.
