  1. Any fruits is probably where I would start… They love cranberries but they are so high in sugar so it appeals to me that I could have then snacking on something healthier!!!

  2. The first thing I would dehydrate is sweet potatoes. My dog loves those pricy sweet potato chews you get at the pet store and I am sure with a dehydrator I could make a load of them for the fraction of the price of store bought ones.

  3. I’d start with mushrooms! Would love to have a stash on hand to pop into soups, etc., but oh they are expensive to buy!

  4. Great review! I would start with root vegetables since that’s what is most abundant at the farmer’s market right now. I really like that it’s on the smaller size since I am a household of one.

  5. I’d dehydrate the rest of the kale in my garden (can’t believe it’s still kicking in December!) and then some sliced sweet potatoes for to make my own dog treats.

  6. There are so many things I would love to try to make in a dehydrator!! The first thing though would probably be some type of fruit.. maybe apple rings or mango slices. Thanks for the chance!!

  7. Absolutely any kind of berry or fruit, i’m obsessed with using fruit powders in my dessert experiments but they’re so pricey! Not to mention hard to source. This would be fantastic

  8. I’d like to dehydrate some zuchinni (I can’t spell it but I love eating it!) as I’ve tried making zuchinni chips in the oven and they didn’t work but I think in a dehydrator they would be amazing!
