  1. I have a few Jamie Oliver cookbooks and they are definitely on my regular “go to” list. This one appears to be a bit of a departure and I would love a chance to “dig in” to it.

Without a doubt, the first recipe I would try is Sweet potato muffins with chili, cheese and seeds. It sounds like an interesting flavour mix, but the real clincher was your photo: they look different from the run-of-the-mill muffin. A must-try in my book.

    As always, thanks.

  2. I’d make the popped beans and baked eggs – I just love putting an egg on anything and calling it a meal! I also like that looking at the recipes in your post that everything looks pretty inexpensive too. I love that about Jamie. We’re on a strict budget but his commitment to good inexpensive food with lots of bold flavours is one of my favourite things about him (well and the handsome……)

  5. Sweet potato muffins with chili, cheese and seeds sounds delicious! We try hard to eat healthy and in-season so this would be a great fall/winter recipe – and my little one loves muffins, so might even be a meal the whole family would eat.

  6. You had me at sweet potato! The Sweet potato muffins with chili, cheese and seeds sound and look delicious! I am a huge fan of Jamie’s and every recipe of his that I’ve tried has been a big hit. My favorite is his parsnip soup which surprisingly everyone loves! Sweet potatoes can do no wrong in our family so this recipe would be devoured. And it has seeds on it so it’s healthy right? 😉

We love Jamie Oliver and have quite a few of his books ? Looking forward to reading this one!
The recipe we would definitely try out first would be the rye soda bread one. My husband has been into making bread lately and this seems right up his alley! (And looks yummy too!)

  11. I’d love to try the Skinny carbonara with smoky bacon, peas, almonds and basil. I love Bacon Carbonara but I rarely have it because of the fat and calories. This skinny version looks amazing and I could have it whenever I want!!

  12. I’d love to try the Magic poached egg with smashed avocado on seeded toast — it looks like a nutritious and tasty meal for breakfast or lunch. I’d like to try the Skinny carbonara with smoky bacon, peas, almonds and basil too. I love spaghetti Carbonara — it’d be great to try one that’s a bit more healthy.
