The strawberry/rhubarb jams looks amazing. Just made a strawberry/rhubarb crisp last weekend. I think I need to try this. Also, hubby makes chili sauce every year. YUM!

This looks like the ideal book for me. My relationship with canning is not great; so poor, in fact, that I freeze what I can rather than can. My plan, this summer, is to, yet again, attempt to make a red pepper jelly — one that is neither too watery nor too solid!
I would like to try to preserve a raspberry jam.

definately raspberry and blueberry jams. My grandma has a raspberry bush in her backyard and my parents live in northern Ontario (aka blueberry country) so I’ll have plenty of berries to work with. 🙂

I’d like to try something with blueberries. I’ve made a cranberry/orange marmalade before, but that’s about it!
The first thing I would like to can is my BBQ sauce.
Then Strawberry Jam and Sauce.

I’m excited to make strawberry rhubarb jam. I’ve got to do it soon the season’s almost over!
I’m looking forward to canning peaches, pizza sauce, and flavored applesauce! Mmmmmmm.
Oh I’m excited to can all the things! I’d love to try marmalade this year – something I’ve not done before.
