It’s all about the goat (cheese)!

Yes, I’ve been cooking a lot with goat cheese lately. There are so many wonderful varieties here in France…

First up, I made a ratatouille and fresh goat’s cheese verrine for Murdoch Books 365 Challenge, where where cooks across the world are working their way through Stéphane Reynaud’s whimsical culinary almanac – “365 Good Reasons to Sit Down to Eat.”

To see how I fared cooking in my tiny kitchen, pay a visit to Murdoch Books 365 Blog!

Interested in purchasing a copy of Stéphane Reynaud’s 365 Good Reasons to Sit Down to Eat? You can find it on Amazon or, for free worldwide shipping, buy it from The Book Depository.

Next up, I was honoured to be asked to write a guest post for Jackie, a London-based food blogger and as luck (and my fridge) would have it, I ended up working on another goat cheese dish – a Galette with chèvre, chicken, cherry tomatoes and arugula.  This was so good, I made it twice!

To read my thought process behind this and to get the recipe, pop over to Jackie’s lovely blog, I am a Feeder!

I am submitting this post to Goaterie – a group of people cooking with all things got this summer!

Keep up with me this summer through my Summer 2011 Flickr set.
