  1. I desire to be in a community like that. To be able to go to a cafe and jusrt sit, drink and enjoy.

I know it wasn’t the focus of your post but the most say the various chair designs in the cafes is facinating and beautiful. I remeber seeing a program years ago about a company that made the hand wove chairs for cafes but I can’t remember if it was in France. It was so long ago. But seing those chairs made me think of that.

  2. It irks me to no end that I can’t take Pete – my awesome dog – into bars and things. It’s ridiculous. Sigh. Your blog looks amazing, and I just realized that I have to re-follow you because blogger isn’t updating your posts. Duh!!!

  3. Ah… la nostalgie evoked by your images! During the last 2 trips to Paris I must have photographed every café chairs arrangement we passed! Got strange looks from one of the patrons but I just smiled.

Another thing we have in common 🙂

  5. I missed this post somehow! I LOVE the cafe culture in France. Especially on a cold sunny day when you can sit and sip a piping hot chocolat chaud and people watch. Sigh.
