Exciting times!

Well for those of you who do not follow me on Twitter where I was excitedly tweeting about this yesterday, I heard back from Catherine Jheon (who actually commented on my letter/post) to let me know that Food Network Canada would love to have me blog for them on a freelance basis!

I am over the moon ecstatic!

My first posts will appear on the site sometime in April so I am off to start working away at them. Thank you all for your support and I hope you will also enjoy my writing over at FoodNetworkCA online! Stay tuned…

Hi Jen, Ah I don’t think so! I will be continuing to enjoy my boys’ cooking club next term and beyond – am excited to share my passion with my students!

That’s incredible! (Although I expected you to get it.) What does the job entail? Do you pitch stories to them or the reverse? Tell us all about it after the bubbly is finished. You have worked so hard and I can’t think of anyone who deserves this more. Does Amanda know? (She was our online blog class teacher…)

I think we work together to come up with stories but I certainly have a whole bunch of travel related tales I can pitch to them straight away. First articles will appear in April. And of COURSE Amanda and Mike know – they taught me everything!!!
