Michael Ruhlman’s BLT from Scratch

“Wow” is all I can say!

You can read more about his sandwich here. As it says in his post, his wife (and photographer) Donna will be reviewing the entries for the contest this week and will post the results next week. I am not hopeful we will win anything but boy, it sure was fun trying!!!

Simply Life – well this is Michael's sandwich, not ours… Unfortunately.. Though ours was pretty good…

Yep, "wow" sums that sandwich up quite nicely.

Although, don't go feeling too much sandwich envy, yours were quite impressive!

Okay, so we missed the opportunity to do home-made crisps…but as we did not GROW any tomatoes, did not occur to me.

Maybe we start a veggie patch next year? (Though seeing as EATING, not GARDENING, is Miss Mardi's strength…not so sure about that.)

Neil – errr, that would be "we did not grow any POTATOES", right??? And hey – I was ok with the herbs and tomatoes this year….
