Click here to enter the Aga contest! You could win a trip for two to England, attend an Aga cooking class at Eckington Manor, tour the Cotswals region and tour the 300 year-old Aga factory!
All you have to do is register for and attend an Aga demonstration at a location near you.
Neil and I went to a demo at the local Aga store here in Toronto last week and watched as the demonstrator effortlessly whipped up quesadillas, toast, potato gratin, spaghetti with shrimp sauce and pizzas. Simultaneously in the various “ovens” that make up an Aga cooker. I was pretty wowed but also a little dubious. The Taurean in my doesn’t know how she would manage using an oven with no temperature guage. Which is just as well since Agas are, shall we say, not in our budget. Hence why we attended the demo. To win the constest. So we could at least pretend to live in that salary bracket!
Searching for Aga-related videos on Youtube to practice uploading other people’s videos for my blogging class assignment this week, I came across the Holiday Turkey one and could not resist since the “secret tip” is to cover the top of the turkey with BUTTER and BACON! Check it out for yourself:

Mmmmm….butter, bacon.
Indeed, at $35K for the full cooker, and with a kitchen the size of ours — I think the trip is the best we can hope for.

said it before and it bears repeating: mmmmm, bacon. (well, Homer Simpson said it first.)
