Inspired by Mark Bitten’s recent post, I thought I would give you an idea of a typical Neil packed lunch (yes, I am a big suck and pack his lunch). Today is a great day for Neil (I am out tonight at my writing class and so I know his dinner will be slim pickings – hence the gourmet lunch!)
Lamb macoc (like a tagine) – tastes WAY better than it looks!
A custard tartlette courtesy of our neighbours 🙂
Packed and ready to go – bon appétit Neil!
Well now I feel the potential need to defend myself…but will just say I am part of Mardi's culinary experiment. 🙂
In fact tonight I was doing a braised tenderloin with elephant garlic and a side of parmesan-cracked potatoes — however given what's in the bag, I'll forego that.
And I DID cook the lamb!
I think I won't show Wayne this post!
I have to say…wasn't much meat left in there. 🙁
I work at home and love to cook, but I don't get anything like this. That looks and sounds great!
recipe for the lamb, please. 🙂
Easy peasy…but we need to try again. Was good — but not "brilliant".
